Arnold F. Charland, age 52, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at home.

Arnold was born in Saranac Lake on April 26, 1969, the son of late Arnold Charland and Rosalie Snyder (Rosie).

Arnie was a lifelong resident of the Bloomingdale area. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and his several trips daily to Stewarts for his coffee and scratch offs. You would always see Arnie driving around town, and stopping and talking to everyone. One of the things Arnie enjoyed most was hunting.

Arnie is survived by his ex-wife and still best friend Jodi Tourville of Morrisonville, his daughter Chantelle Charland of Plattsburgh, his sons Kenney (Kylie) Charland of Danamora, Andrew Charland of Bloomingdale, sisters, Tina Charland of Tupper Lake, Kimberly (Terry) Snyder of Bloomingdale, Amanda (Brent) Fitzgerald of Lake Clear, brothers Michael (Terri) Charland of Vermontville, Chad (Christine) Charland of Tupper Lake, one half-brother Jody Charland of Hawaii, and step father Larry Snyder of Bloomingdale, Arnie has four grandchildren whom he adored dearly and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Arnie was predeceased in death by his father and mother Arnold Charland and Rosalie Snyder.

Calling hours will take place on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Saranac Lake, NY 12983. Burial will take place in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Saranac Lake.
