PLANTATION, FL

Samuel Salvatore Imprescia, 97 of Plantation, Florida and formerly of Lunenburg, MA, passed away peacefully at his son’s home in New Hampshire surrounded by his loving family.

Sam was born on April 2, 1925 in Fitchburg, the son of the late Filippo & Filippa (Siciliano) Imprescia.

He was a World War II Veteran serving in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. Upon his honorable discharge he went to work for General Electric in Fitchburg for 35 years until his retirement in 1980.

Sam spent most of his life creating lovely memories with the love of his life Concetta (Connie) DiNatale Imprescia whom he was married to for 72 years until her passing in 2019. They loved to travel together, go dancing and to the casinos. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, the horses, and his daily walks. More than anything he had a passion for food! From his daily trips to the grocery store, to his fantastic meals that he made every day, growing his garden every summer, dining out, and especially feeding the ones he loved. But most of all he loved his family and giving them joy made him the happiest.

He will be missed most for his quick wit, infectious smile, compassionate spirit, generosity & selflessness.

He leaves behind a daughter Phyllis Benoit of Ft. Lauderdale Florida, (Wife of the late Donald Benoit) a son Philip Imprescia and his wife Laurie Imprescia of Northfield, NH and a daughter Debra Aro and her husband Craig Aro of Ashburnham, MA. Six grandchildren; Jaime, Laura, Philip, Jordan, Chelsea, and Dakotah; Eleven great- grandchildren. And one great-great grandchild.
