Word has been received of the death of John Wamsganz, age 78, of Saranac Lake, who died on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at his home following a brief illness.
Calling hours are tentatively set to take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake on Sunday, June 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. A Masonic service, followed by a fireman’s prayer service and bell ceremony, will take place Sunday evening at 6:45 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service is tentatively set to take place at 11 a.m. on Monday at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Lowenthal officiating. Following cremation burial take place in Pine Ridge Cemetery in Saranac Lake at the convenience of the family.
